Adrian Rodriguez
Lecturer
Dr. Adrian Rodriguez is a Lecturer in the Walker Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. Currently, he works full-time as an Engineering Content Developer for zyBooks, a Wiley brand.
Dr. Rodriguez’s research interests include: multibody dynamics, contact and impact with friction, nonlinear dynamics, electro-mechanical systems, and engineering education. He actively participates in professional development training for effective teaching practices and supervises undergraduate research projects.
Dr. Rodriguez previously held a joint appointment as a Research Fellow at the Nanomanufacturing Systems Center (NASCENT) located at the JJ Pickle Research Campus. Prior to joining UT Austin, Dr. Rodriguez was a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington since 2014. He received his B.S. degree from UT Austin, and both M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from UT Arlington, all in Mechanical Engineering. Other teaching experience includes: Adjunct Professor (Austin Community College), Instructor (Upward Bound Math & Science), and On-site Presenter (AVID for Higher Education).
