Mechanical Engineers endeavor to provide solutions for many complex technological challenges. Nevertheless, the education of future mechanical engineers would benefit from opportunities to hone their skills beyond technical topics alone and maintain a healthy work-life balance. The Community, Culture and Wellness (CCW) committee aims to provide resources and opportunities for all individuals to foster professional and personal growth, create a safe and supportive environment, and allow expression of different opinions and thoughts. The CCW works to achieve these goals by sponsoring activities, funding micro-grants, and providing a mechanism for feedback to the Walker Department. Activities and funding provided by the CCW are open to all members of the Walker Department.
