Texas Innovation Center Scholarships

The Texas Innovation Center provides students access to resources, mentoring and programming to explore entrepreneurial endeavors.

The Cockrell School of Engineering provides scholarships to trailblazers active in classes and student organizations focused on entrepreneurship and innovation and provides key funding for students to achieve their goals launching startups for the marketplace or pursuing technical innovation within the campus community.

To apply for scholarships, complete the Texas Innovation Application. Applications are accepted throughout the year, and awards are made to engineering undergraduate and graduate students, as well as teams with at least one engineering student member. Awards range in amounts from $1,000 to $10,000. Funding renewals are considered based on targeted milestone progress toward goals.

Traditionally underrepresented groups, defined by geographic regions, specific community or student organizations and economically disadvantaged families encouraged to apply.
