About
D’Arcy Randall is an engineering educator and Professor of Instruction in the Walker Department of Mechanical Engineering. She earned her Ph.D. from UT Austin in 2001 and has taught engineering communication courses across the Cockrell School of Engineering. Her work focuses on helping engineering students develop strong technical writing, communication, and critical-thinking skills. Randall has also collaborated on initiatives that connect engineering education with writing instruction, including programs that train students to support their peers with technical reports. Her scholarly interests include engineering ethics, technical communication, and literature.
