Summer 2024 Information Sessions for Mechanical Engineering Applicants
Planning for graduate school doesn’t have to be daunting! Attend an online information session to learn about ME program requirements, funding opportunities, and how to strengthen your application. Prospective PhD and MS applicants are encouraged to attend.
We are hosting two information sessions in Summer 2024. RSVP is required. The sign-up sheet will close one business day before the session.
- Information Session 1 - Monday, July 1 - 12pm-1pm CST
- Information Session 2 - Wednesday, July 24 - 4pm-5pm CST

Discover Mechanical Engineering (ME) at the University of Texas at Austin
Application Information for Discover ME for Prospective Graduate Students
The application for Discover ME 2023 has now closed.
Discover ME will provide a select group of prospective students with an opportunity to learn about the resources and opportunities available for ME graduate study at UT Austin. You will visit several research labs, interact with faculty members, and meet current ME graduate students. A tentative schedule can be found here. Note that this schedule is subject to change. A final schedule will be emailed to accepted applicants in September 2023. The event will be of free of charge for invited students.
